UPS :
UPS gathers most teachers of mathematics, physics and chemistry teaching in the sections preparing students for selective competitive examinations that give admittance to the "Gandes Ecoles".
These classes constitute a system that is unique to France.
They consist of a two-year cycle that corresponds to the first two years of university. They prepare students to pass the competitive examinations for the engineering high schools such as Polytechnique, Centrale, or les Mines, as well as the Ecoles Normales Supérieures.
The goal of the association is to promote the teaching of mathematics, physics and chemistry in these classes and to offer to its members through a website and a journal, a platform for exchanging information and educational data of all kinds.
